My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Water Quality, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for a Team Leader (Water Quality) to manage team across the North West. You will be based from home and cover sites across Warrington, Liverpool and Manchester. Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Environmental Science, Hydrology, Geography or Environmental Management have experience managing and coordinating team members. It is essential for candidates to have a valid driving licence as the role will involve frequent site work using a Company Vehicle to complete audits. This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to manage and mentor a friendly team based across the North West to complete Water Quality Projects across the North West for Water Companies. You will be expected to manage and lead a team of field technicians who will be completing site visits and investigating water pollution incidents. The role will also involve; Attending site visits to investigate pollution incidents across the North West using a Company Vehicle (small van). Site Audits with Technicians. Co-ordinate and manage the team to respond to water pollution incidents across the North West. Support junior team members providing training and advice regarding Water Quality. Check and amend technical reports ensuring reports are completed to a high standard. Ensure compliance with Company Procedures. Manage the procurement & maintenance of field equipment and PPE and review operational practices. Regularly liaise and update clients regarding the services provided by the team. Monthly performance reporting & meeting with the wider team. Provide detailed reports to line managers highlighting team progress. Leading and monitor team performance providing advice to the team and ensuring best practice.This role offers a competitive salary, rota shift pattern, company benefits and career progression.
