SEN Provision Teaching assistant required across Coventry area. Your new companyYou will be working with Hays education as a SEN Teaching assistant working alongside many SEN provision schools across Coventry area. We take a proactive approach when finding you the right job as a SEN Teaching assistant.Your new roleAs a SEN Teaching assistant since you will be working on a full-time basis, you will be working Mon-Fri with shifts starting at 8:30am - 3:30pm. You will be working with students from Early years up to Post 16 depending on your preference in year group and experience. You will be assisting and helping in teaching children with learning difficulties such as PMLD, MLD, SLD, DHD, Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, and those with challenging behaviour. You may be required to also have 1-1 sessions with some students needing that extra support or push in learning as we as small group sessions. You will be working alongside the classroom teacher, and you must ensure a secure and safe environment is kept in and outside the classroom.What you'll need to succeedTo be a successful SEN Teaching Assistant you must have experience working with SEN children or some sort of knowledge for at least 40 days minimum. You must ideally be qualified or unqualified.
