We are seeking a candidate who wants to pursue a career in sales to grow Amazon Pay UK penetration in the SMB, mid-market and large enterprise market segments. You will generate opportunities for the UK, by qualifying new merchants and engaging with eCommerce Managers and C-Levels to support the Sales team and expand our merchant base. You will support marketing lead generation activities and will support on event organisation.

Key job responsibilities
This role will involve facilitating sales deals and relationships with strategic merchants across the UK.

The right candidate has experience working against targets and brings successful experience in business development, a keen interest in e-commerce and online payments, and ability to shape this role.

You are the perfect fit for this role if you can:

* Identify new merchants that Amazon Pay can work with
* Identify and engage with the right stakeholders through emails, calls, etc.
* Comfortably execute sales activities with high standards and consistency
* Develop a deep understanding of the current functionality and value proposition of Amazon Pay to find and execute new opportunities
* Operate in a fast-moving environment, you will have full responsibility of your performance and achieving your objectives
* Be accountable for auditing and reporting on key inputs and outputs in Salesforce and other internal reporting systems
* Prepare business analysis for senior management teams, regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customersBasic Qualifications
* Self-starter, with proven professional success, who is prepared to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
* Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities in a focused market space
* Skill at presenting, at a high level, a technical solution to prospects and customers relevant to their industry or target market.
* Knowledge to differentiate and understand various IT roles and responsibilities
* Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
* Record of success in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment
* Skilled in prospecting techniques
* Advanced experience including the development of dashboards and
* Demonstration of interest in developing a technology sales careerPreferred Qualifications
* Background in payments/Fintech or Consumer Finance businesses and/or relevant experience in B2B2C businesses.
* Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
