Job Title: Quality Lead Engineer QMS & Certification Salary: £47K (dependent on experience) Location: Warwick/Leeds Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16:45pm, Friday 8:00am to 12:30pm Contract: Permanent The Future of Urban Mobility: If you have seen one of London's iconic red double decker s then you have seen Switch Mobility. As the Quality Lead Engineer QMS & Certification you'll be supporting the daily management of delivering the Quality Management System and Certification for the UK and Europe side of the Switch Mobility. Supporting delivery of the internal and external audit schedule, ensuring the business is ready for future audits, while ensuring QMS becomes a standard part of the business going forward. What you'll be doing .. Provide support guidance and coaching to the internal audit team to ensure completion of audits to schedule and an effective audit program Support process owners in the definition of corrective actions to support internal corrective actions Provide support for the management of external audits in terms of planning and execution Create and report measures related to the health of the Quality management system Liaise with Lead QMS engineer/s in Spain & India to drive standardisation across facilities Provide support to the principal engineer in the ongoing development of the QMS Lead process improvement activities cascaded from strategic objectives and policy deployment, manage and execute improvement projects Manage and track KPI s and process measures related to the QMS, drive improvements and corrective actions as required to drive performance improvement. Provide guidance support and coaching to all areas of the business in terms of QMS and certification requirements Provide support for the planning and execution of internal audits Analyse audit findings to identify systemic weaknesses, and drive continual improvement within the audit process Provide support to the principle engineer to ensure EUWVTA type approval requirements are understood and implemented within the organisation Support the processes for Conformity of production testing to verify production vehicles in line with legal requirements and maintain necessary records. Provide the necessary support to drive the resolution of any technical issues to maintain legal production. Provide the support to deliver robust auditing of PFMEA s and control plans, ensure the x-functional team reviews, updates and adheres to these plans. Create management reports and develop process measures and metrics to identify the health of system Work in conjunction with the HSE engineers team to deploy our integrated management system approach Provide administration and development support for the EQMS system Provide training support to develop the understand across the organisation of current and future certification requirements Who we're looking for .. Engineering HNC, degree or 5 years experience in Quality management system development Auditor qualification Experience within an automotive company ISO 9001 Quality management system knowledge IATF Quality management system knowledge Ability to support the auditing schedule in support of the COP requirements Automotive experience Experienced in practical problem solving Broad engineering and manufacturing knowledge Experienced or understanding of inspection systems Experience in Auditing and lead vehicle audits with external authorities Proven ability to develop an audit schedule that meets the applicable standard and to the lead the business through the external audits Hybrid Working Work where it works.
