Project Manager We Build Recruitment are currently looking for a Project Manager to start a Permanent role for one of our clients based in Greater Manchester. We currently have a permanent opportunity for a Building Services HVAC Project Manager, working with a well-established M&E Contractor, who have secured many projects cover over the years. The Mechanical Project Manager must have experience of working on site and on the tools. You must have experienced in managing sub-contractors, liaising with clients, so have good communications skills and a get the job done attitude. Ideally qualified within HVAC. The Successful M&E/ HVAC Project Manager Will: • HVAC M&E/ HVAC Project Manager will be managing projects worth £10,000.00 -£(phone number removed) and quoting on remedial works and replacements of faulty M&E/ HVAC systems. • HVAC M&E/ HVAC Project Manager will be overseeing delivery of projects to ensure quality and client satisfaction. • HVAC M&E/ HVAC Project Manager will be scheduling in works to be completed, liaising with the Client, Contracts managers and allocating labour to complete the works, with control of the Project from commencement to completion. • HVAC M&E/ HVAC Project Manager will be covering Projects in Manchester and surrounding areas. • HVAC M&E/ HVAC Project Manager will be experienced in quoting and managing installations and remedial works on M&E small works/ HVAC and associated plant and equipment. Key Duties: • Sub-contractor engagement • Management/Assistance with HVAC Design • Production of cost schedules • Management of engineers and subcontractors • Management and maintenance of Quality, Health, and Safety on site • Management/Assistance with procurement and product selection • Creation and maintenance of programme and progress reports • Commercial responsibility of projects with sub-contract and in-house labour • Risk management and reporting Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience • City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 in Plumbing/SVQ in Heating and Ventilating • Proven mechanical/ducting skills in all aspects of Building Services. • Working knowledge of Air handling units, pumps, calorifiers CWS and HWS systems • Ability to fault find and resolve problems • Sound Judgement and examples of logical problem solving. • Previous experience of working within a team in a maintenance environment. • Competent working knowledge of all aspects associated with building services • At least two years previous experience within a similar role. • Good command of the English language and able to write reports. • Available to work out of hours and at weekends if needed. • A good understanding of health and safety in a maintenance environment • Experience of working to planned delivery of routine maintenance (PPM). • CSCS Card/ JIB Card • IPAF certificate • PASMA certificate • Asbestos Awareness • SSSTS • Proven experience in working within a team. • Formal Health and Safety training • Preferred SMSTS Working Hours 38.5 hours per week, 8 hours Monday to Thursday and 6.5 hours on a Friday, flexible to support evenings and weekends as and when required
