Product Operations Manager Milton Keynes (Hybrid) £660 per day via umbrella company 6 Months Contract PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB This role is designed to oversee the overall governance for all the product related activities within the company. This role is designed to own all of the associated policies and processes that are related to the current and future portfolio of products and on behalf of my client as a whole, own the New Product Development procedure (NPD) and the new Product Transparency Process (PTP), as well as proactive identification of process requirements and management of relationships locally and at headquarters. The role will drive a detailed product review approach to ensure end to end management of all the current products in the market ensuring that they are fit for purpose, customer centric and still perform from a regulatory perspective. The role will forge links across the enterprise to help my client ensure complete rigour in the product process and support the delivery of the most comprehensive set of automotive finance products in the industry. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and maintain a product development methodology to ensure that products and programmes are entirely fit for purpose, commercially and technically. Support the development of existing products and business lines whilst being the companys gatekeeper and central point of information, for all product related matters. Ensure that all of the overall governance of product related activity has the required rigour and that all policies and processes are accurate and up to date. Ensure that all products and services comply with local and international regulatory and legislative requirements as well as headquarter standards. Support the overall delivery of all core products and services to meet volume, mix and margin objectives. Collaborate across Brand Management, Sales Management and other key stakeholders to deliver a product infrastructure that meets both brand and retailer requirements. Build effective relationships with headquarters and all business areas locally for all product related matters in the UK. This includes key projects such as the implementation of FCA Consumer Duty guidance. Ensure that all products work individually and in collaboration with each other. A key component in this is creating a product landscape for each brand with brand-specific product conditions where appropriate.EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge and experience of FS business processes desirable. Significant relevant experience within product management. University degree preferred. Sound understanding of key operational Compliance aspects. TCF, FCA/ Regulatory compliance.SKILLS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS REQUIRED Strong understanding of Brand, Retailer and Finance House functions as well as market dynamics and requirements. Strong interpersonal and relationship skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders ability to develop and sustain positive and co-operative working relationships with a broad variety of company and partner personnel Communication skills - superior oral and written communication skills required; must be able to confidently deal with a wide diversity of people and present and communicate effectively at all levels Excellent team player, able to interact cross-functionally at different levels within the organisation Enthusiasm, drive, commitment and confidence to achieve goals of team and self with minimal supervisionIf you feel you are suitable for this position, please be sure to submit your CV
