Policy and Campaigns Support Officer £38,892 per annum Leeds Full-time, 35 hours a week (happy to talk flexible working) Fixed term contract for one year (secondments considered) Our client is offering the opportunity to become involved in a wide and varied area of work within their Yorkshire and The Humber team. About the role The role includes supporting policy and research, campaigning and media. The post holder will also have an opportunity to work with colleagues and partners to make a difference to working lives through the work they undertake. Who they re looking for This position would suit someone who has experience of building constructive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and who can use their experience and organisational skills to contribute to the success of their regional campaign strategy. What experience, skills, knowledge and understanding do you need? You ll able to understand complex issues and exercise sound political judgement You ll have a good knowledge and strong interest in the economic and social issues affecting working people in Yorkshire and the Humber You ll have good knowledge and understanding of key issues for our client including current issues in trade unionism You ll enjoy making a positive contribution to the team s success If this is you, then we d like to hear from you.
