A board-certified child psychiatrist is needed for the outpatient clinic 2 days per week. Onsite or telehealth is an option.

Conducts initial psychiatric intake evaluations, diagnosis and mental status intake follow-up evaluations. Provides annual psychiatric evaluations and PRN consultations for mental status changes of enrolled clients not regularly prescribed psychiatric medication as indicated. Monitors and adjusts medication treatment (prescriptions); PRN re-evaluation of mental status changes; and patient education re: prescribed psychiatric medication benefits and potential side effects for enrolled clients, through on-site clinic appointments or telehealth. Completes all necessary documentation in the electronic health record and is familiar with concurrent documentation. Engages with the team in strategic planning in response to community needs and initiatives identified by NYS OMH and NYC Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene. Develops and authorizes all plans as follows: the initial treatment plan, treatment plan reviews, and amendments, in compliance with NYS Office of Mental Health and NYC Dept. of Health and Mental Hygiene regulations.
