M&E Manager London Up to £50,000 + Package I am recruiting for a strong/driven individual to be based out of a corporate office working for a leading FM provider in Birmingham. You will be leading on a worldwide technology based contract in terms of hard service delivery whilst running a strong technical team. Your job will be to maintain a strong client relationship whilst keeping all operations on site running to expected delivery standards. Job Responsibilities Ensure that all PPM s and reactive s for all client assets. Ensure that accurate and comprehensive records are kept pertaining to QHSE, Building Compliance and Quality Assurance. Ensure that sub-contractors perform to meet the requirement of the contract. Administer sub contractor work approvals and safe operation while repair or service is carried out on site. Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times. To carry out routine quality checks on workforce activities, record keeping and general housekeeping. Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant. Overview the buildings environmental conditions using the BMS System and utilise same to maintain acceptable internal conditions. Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are completed. Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared, reviewed and utilised for all tasks (PPM s and reactive) carried out to ensure safe working practices. To maintain good client relationships Ensure the provision of a Safe & Healthy working environment. Ensure a professional image of the site for visitors and clients Undertake other tasks as defined and requested by local management. Ensure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate, including the utilisation of the shift engineers to ensure the task is suitably completed. To undertake annual appraisals of the team. To ensure the M&E team are suitably skilled and trained, and appropriate training plans are drafted and implemented. To ensure the engineers are undertaking work tasks as directed and with suitable H&S awareness/implementation. Ensure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI s/SLA s. What are we looking for? Recognised and relevant technical or FM qualification IOSH Managing safely (Essential) NEBOSH OR CITB SMSTS (Desirable) Customer relationship management A strong understanding of hard services with a background in managament Clear and sensitive communication style, likely to be of a technical nature Experience in an FM environment Experience of first line management Sound knowledge of service delivery and KPIs Demonstrable experience of budgeting and managing costs Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and implementation of policies For more information please contact Josh Wood at Boden on (phone number removed) or (url removed)
