Job Role: To support learners in developing their knowledge, skills and behaviours required to meet the relevant apprenticeship programme. The role includes delivering coaching, mentoring and knowledge sessions, formative and summative assessments; via remote channels or face to face at their workplace in works time. Reviewing learners progress against their learning plan is key to their progress, ensuring the apprentice completes a minimum of 20% off the job learning hours. Deliver wrap around information, advice and guidance including; mock end point assessments to ensure that learners are ready for the independent assessment at the end of their apprenticeship. Main Duties: Carry out the initial induction of learners onto the apprenticeship programme, delivering wrap around information, advice and guidance (IAG) Train, coach, and assess in a range of apprenticeship programmes which include Team Leading up to L3, Management up to L5 & Functional Skills Supporting learners to develop functional skills to the level of competence required Support learners with learning requirements, within own experience Guide and ensure learners are ready for End Point Assessment within agreed timeframes Work to specific quality and completion targets Organise and maintain systems on learners' progress. Assist in the development of courses and materials and liaise with the quality team to prepare for, and participate in, external quality assurance visits from awarding bodies and other external stakeholders Maintain own professional level of expertise and keep up to date with the latest developments in the field; undertaking training and development directly relevant to your professional role as necessary. Attend all company CPD events & standardisation meetings Essential Requirements Assessor Award Occupational Competence ( Vicky SEE Qual Spec) in leadership and management Hold a L5 in Operational/departmental Management Initial Teaching Qualification e.g. Award in Education or equivalent Functional Skills English L2 or equivalent Functional Skills maths L2 or equivalent Evidence of current practice e.g. CPD records or volunteer in industry Desirable Requirements Internal Quality Assurer Occupational Competence Knowledge of using e portfolio systems Health & Safety L2 equivalent e.g. COSHH Equality & Diversity L2 Certificate Safeguarding & Prevent Information, Advice & Guidance Certificate Understanding of Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF) Understanding of ESFA funding rules Understanding of Awarding Organisation requirements Paul Feldman is the National Skills Agency Data Protection Officer.
