The last person I placed here in internal sales has been promoted within a year of doing just the job you will be doing, today she is overseas visiting a customer.....

So, this role could not only be an open door to join a new business, but the start of a career!

You know how to talk to customers, you win them over and make them feel completely at ease, you also know the importance of logging those conversations so that when you next speak to them you can ask them how the house move went, or how the new pet is settling in, people buy off people right?

Your job is maintaining regular contact with key accounts, taking their orders, understanding their future requirements, and dealing with any questions they might have to maximise every opportunity.

But it doesn't end at that your admin is always accurate and you aren't someone who is afraid to ask "why?"

You don't like cold calling, it doesn't interest you, you prefer to build and maintain long standing relationships, not a problem, no cold calling here!

They use SAP, if you've used it great but if you are familiar with CRM systems then this can be taught.

They are not just a one site business, they have over 500 companies within the group in 50 different countries, again this gives your career endless scope if that's what you are looking for, and the industry is steel, you might be thinking, "I've heard in the media about the global shortage of steel", not a problem, they have their own mills for you to supply your customers from!

You don't need to have a background in metals, but if you have some knowledge of manufacturing or engineering this would help.

You are someone who wants to succeed, has the drive and determination to do so, as you can see from what I've said this business have a reputation for nurturing talent, giving their team the opportunity to fulfil their career goals.

And you want to work in a lovely small team of 4, within a bigger office for an expanding engineering company (and yes there will be banter, goes with the territory of engineering)
