HS&E Advisor Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 Position: Permanent Location: Chester + UK Travel Hours: Flexible working My client, a leading manufacturing and engineering company who specialise in the Aerospace industry are currently looking for an experienced HS&E Advisor to join their team. Ideally you will have Five years' experience of EH&S aspects and have coordinated EH&S in a multi-site manufacturing operation, preferably Aerospace. Qualifications: Minimum of NEBOSH Certificate Minimum of IEMA Associate certificate in Environmental management Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Quality EH&S, with responsibility for the strategic direction, co-ordination and compliance at three sites across the UK. Lead and develop a team of proactive EH&S professionals, to implement EH&S programs and achieve measurable goals Ensure Mechanical Solutions complies with EH&S Legislation, statutory and corporate requirements Maintain the EH&S Management Systems and ensure continued certification to ISO14001 & ISO45001 Comply and promote the company values, Cardinal Rules and Code of Conduct. Instil an EH&S culture defined by leadership engagement and employee ownership. Drive accountability and ownership across all functions and at all levels of the business Lead and manage the business strategy, with regards to COVID protocols and precautions Ensure the completion of site safety inspections, incident investigations and root cause analysis, audits and reporting as required. Support the creation and communication of safe systems of work, job safety analysis, risk assessments, procedures and policy related documentation. Collect, analyse and report on EH&S data in the organisation and reports to the corporate body in a timely manner. Assist and support implementation of the Health & Safety Policy. Act as nominated business competent person for EH&S, reporting to senior management and external bodies Prepare, run and/or contribute to the EH&S committee's and management review meetings. Monitor, review and manage the EH&S programmes, including for; occupational health, COSHH, training, contractor control/permits, LOTO, ergonomics and risk assessment/hazard reduction. Ensure the EH&S training plan/matrix is implemented, and safety related training is delivered to employees. Work with the Engineering function to ensure that my client is compliant with REACH legislation. Provide EH&S support and guidance to the wider business functions as required and travel to other UK, IOM and European sites. My client have multiple opportunities with immediate start dates.
