Basic Job Function Provide systems and administrative support to the Human Resources team. The Human Resources coordinator is primarily responsible for providing administrative and functional support relating to end-to-end employee life cycle management, project-based initiatives, and the recruiting / talent management process. This position provides the opportunity to work on a variety of HR generalist initiatives including projects, reporting and analysis, process improvement, and recruiting support.

Tasks/Responsibilities: Support the employment team with various administrative and functional tasks Coordinate with employment team and operations leaders to post new positions. Update company on open positions weekly. Coordinate with recruiters on internal transfers and promotions to ensure files are updated. Upload files to company systems. Complete applicable I-9 verification and maintain files in accordance with company and legal policies. Assist in the new hire processes for new and returning candidates including, but not limited to, monitoring pre-employment screenings and processes and conducting in person paperwork. Assist with adding new team members to payroll and adjusting current team member's information due to transfers, promotions, or status changes. Maintain compliance for all applicable laws and regulations. Responsible for additional special projects as needed such as reporting, DOT monitoring, international compliance, etc. Assist team members and candidates with a positive attitude and in accordance with our Five-Star Standards Be able to assist team members with frequently asked questions, changes in personal information, determining who they need to speak with, determining the urgency of the matter and following up with all parties involved appropriately Responds to manager requests for team member information in accordance with company policy regarding privacy Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately Attends all scheduled team member meetings and brings suggestions for improvement Willing and timely execution of other duties as delegated by leadership
Physical Requirements: Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, bend, push, pull and walk for prolonged periods Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 30 lbs intermittently throughout a shift Maintain compliance with Sea Island's Company Resort Professional Image Policy
