The client has a focus on bringing the best digital connectivity to those living and working in communities across the UK, their roots, quite literally, are in fibre, with a clear mission to connect people to a better, fibre-enabled broadband experience. Their customers enjoy ultra-fast service speeds of up to one gigabit (1,000mbps). This is because they build 'full' fibre networks. Full fibre means that each property and resident within their build areas gets a dedicated fibre connection all the way into their premises (FTTP or fibre-to-the-premises) and so their property is literally connected directly to the internet. Role overview: Full Time Permanent role Hours: 37.5 hours per week Pay: £25,000 Expenses: Travel expenses will be reimbursed when appropriate Holiday: 25 days annual leave including bank holidays (1 Day increment per year of service) Pension: Work Placed Pension Scheme Healthcare: Private Health care (optional) Comms: Mobile phone and laptop/tablet will be provided About the role: They are looking for a field-based Fibre Broadband Adviser to help achieve their customer acquisition targets in Colchester and the surrounding area. They are looking for an all-round sales superstar. Someone who is professional, confident, skilled, flexible, and totally focussed on helping customers find a better broadband solution. This is a multi-channel sales role. So, flexibility is very important. Most of your work will be field-based, out in the community - knocking on residential doors in the areas we have connected to our full fibre broadband network. Your job is to convince prospective residential customers to subscribe and join their growing customer base. You may also be asked from time-to-time to switch sales channels and spend some time making and receiving calls to and from prospective customers - who may have visited their website for example. So, this is a job where no two days are ever the same and so would suit a professional salesperson who enjoys variety and can quickly adapt to different situations, challenges and opportunities with limited notice. The ideal candidate: - Someone who enjoys cold calling - perhaps with experience of door-to-door sales - A positive and enthusiastic person who enjoys talking to and helping people - A self-starter who is comfortable working on your own initiative (although ample support will be provided). - Someone who has good organisational skills and uses technology to ensure they work as productively as possible - A resilient person, able to maintain a positive upbeat attitude even on the most challenging of days - Someone who is good at thinking on their feet - You are professional, presentable, and always able to make a good impression - You have a clean driving license and own (or have access to) a reliable car If you are interested in this position, please do apply with your most up to date CV for immediate review.
