The University of Nottingham Students Union has an exciting opportunity for a Academic Representation Project Specialist to join our team based in Nottingham. You will work on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,086 per annum. Who are we and what do we do? The Academic Representation Project Specialist role: The Academic Representation Project Specialist is a new role for the Students Union, focused on our strategic commitment of Prioritising Academic Representation. We are looking for someone with experience in project management to help us deliver our 12 month Academic Representation Transformation Project (ART Project). The ART Project is key to ensuring that we re developing brilliant Academic Representation systems that keep students at the heart of the learning experience at Nottingham. We are looking for someone who can help us build a strong foundation for academic representation, working with the University to develop our Academic Representation strategy and plotting the next stage of development and growth for our Academic Reps System. To achieve this, you will need to have excellent stakeholder relationship and management skills, ideally with external stakeholders. You will also have experience in developing, delivering, and reviewing training so that we can review the training & development offer to our Representatives within the Academic Reps System. What are we looking for in our Academic Representation Project Specialist? A degree or comparable professional experience Experience of managing and delivering projects through all stages of the project life cycle Experience and/or qualification in training including designing, delivering, and evaluating training Experience in managing and supporting volunteers Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to write project/business plans Competent use of IT (incl.
